Alexander “Zander” Grant

Zander has lived in Dedham and been a member of St. Paul’s Church for the majority of his life. Zander attended Dedham Country Day School, Noble & Greenough School, Middlebury College in Vermont, and the Amos Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He continues to be involved with the schools in fund-raising and other alumni functions. Zander worked in New York City for three years before relocating and living in Boston and Dover, MA, and then returned to Dedham in 1998, along with his wife Carol and their two daughters, Audrey and Lily. He has spent most of career in the financial industry at Salomon Brothers Inc, and for the past 20 years at Wellington Management Company. When younger, Zander sang in St. Paul’s children’s choir, along with his two brothers, who were acolytes too. Both his parents, Chris and Gilly Grant, served on the St. Paul’s Vestry as well. Currently, Zander is a member of St. Paul’s Investment Committee. While in Dover, Zander’s family attended The Dover Church, where Zander taught Sunday school and served on various committees. Zander and his family enjoy playing tennis and skiing together, plus family meals and traveling.
