Katie Cochran

Warden

St. Paul's Church has been Katie Cochran's spiritual home since 1978, when she first arrived in Dedham as a young girl. Her early years at the church were filled with participation in the Junior choir to serving as an acolyte, culminating in her Confirmation. During her years at Noble and Greenough School, Katie maintained her deep connection to St. Paul's, inspired by her mother’s, Julie Keally's, active involvement in the parish community.

In 1993, St. Paul's was the natural choice for Katie's wedding to Stephen Cochran, marking another milestone in her journey with the church. After several years in Milton, the couple felt drawn back to Dedham, where they eagerly introduced their four children - Jimmy, Julia, Calvin, and Lizzie - to the church that had shaped Katie's youth. When her children weren’t in the hockey rink, the next generation were immersed in St. Paul's activities such as the Children's Choir, serving as acolytes and junior lectors, attending Sunday school, and participating in the beloved Christmas Pageant - whose lines still echo through their family celebrations each December.

A graduate of Kenyon College with an MBA from Babson College, Katie balances her professional life with simple pleasures: taking walks with the family's dog, Noodle, finding quiet moments with a good book, and running when the New England weather cooperates. She and Stephen regularly venture to New York City to visit two of their children, keeping their close-knit family connected across the miles.
