Pat Clarke

Originally from New Hampshire, Pat has lived in Westwood since 1989. A church search led her to St. Paul’s in 2006 where she discovered a community where she and Christine Farnsworth could comfortably worship together, Chris having been raised Episcopalian and Pat from the Roman Catholic tradition. On a beautiful May afternoon in 2010, Pat was received into the Episcopal church. The community of St. Paul’s was a lifeline for Pat during a challenging period of caregiving during Chris’ physical and medical decline which resulted in her death in 2017, ending their life of 30 years together.

Educated as an RN, she worked several years on a medical-surgical unit and also in the Emergency Room, both in Concord, NH, then spent the remaining 27 years before retirement as a Nurse Paralegal working with attorneys in NH and Boston law firms.

Pat has two children, three grandchildren, and was happy to welcome a first great grandchild, Grayson, in March 2023.

Pat previously served on the Vestry (2019 – 2021), participated in the pilgrimages on the Camino de Santiago and to Iona in Scotland, is a faithful Thursday morning communicant, a regular on the Greeter team, and participates in the Book and Movie Groups.
