Tom Dorer and his wife Elaine Sewell Dorer are in their second stint as St. Paul’s parishioners – from 1995-2002, and returning in 2017. In between, they and their son Harry lived in West Virginia and central Connecticut before work brought them back to Massachusetts. Tom has practiced law on behalf of colleges and universities since 1992, and currently serves as general counsel at Suffolk University in Boston. Tom and Elaine met as members of an Episcopal church choir in Washington, DC, and have kept up their choral singing wherever they’ve moved, most importantly including their time at St. Paul’s. They both serve on the committee for the church’s memorial garden, where their daughters Caroline and Katherine remain close to home and heart.
