Vestry Member
A committed Episcopalian with a strong background in leadership and organizational management, John Cianciarulo is eager to serve St. Paul's as a member of the vestry. As Director of Administrative Services for the Town of Norwood, he oversees organizational management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration. His two decades of experience in public service, including serving as Chief of Staff for the Westwood Public Schools, have honed his skills in strategic planning and community engagement – skills he believes will be invaluable to the vestry.
John’s commitment to leadership is supported by his education, including a Master of Arts in Professional, Technical, and Business Writing from New England College and a Graduate Certificate in Government Leadership and Management from Suffolk University. He also holds degrees in Information Technology and English/Communication Studies from the University of Massachusetts.
As an active member of the Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club, John demonstrates his commitment to service and community engagement.
A lifelong Episcopalian who deeply values his faith, John joined St. Paul's in 2017. He has since served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister for the eight o'clock service, contributing to the spiritual life of the congregation. His connection to the church runs deep, having served as an acolyte and a member of the children's choir in his youth. John was baptized at the now-closed Christ Church in Somerville; and confirmed at St. Stephen’s in Cohasset. He and his wife, Kerri, were married at St. Paul's in 2018.
John enjoys boxing, “novice” hiking, traveling, and yoga. He and Kerri share a deep connection to St. Paul's and are grateful to call it their spiritual home.
